About CHASING CHRISTMAS EVE:

Meet cute...

Run for the hills—temporarily. That’s Colbie Albright’s plan when she flees New York for San Francisco. Wrangling her crazy family by day and writing a bestselling YA fantasy series by night has taken its toll. In short, Colbie’s so over it that she’s under it. She’s also under the waters of a historic San Francisco fountain within an hour of arrival. Fortunately, the guy who fishes Colbie out has her looking forward to Christmas among strangers. But she’s pretty sure Spencer Baldwin won’t be a stranger for long.

Make merry...

Spence’s commitment to hiding from the Ghosts of Relationships Past means he doesn’t have to worry about the powerful—okay, crazy hot—chemistry he’s got with Colbie. Just because she can laugh at anything, especially herself... just because she’s gorgeous and a great listener…just because she “gets” Spencer immediately doesn’t mean he won’t be able to let Colbie go. Does it?

…and hope for a miracle.

Now the clock’s ticking for Colbie and Spence: Two weeks to cut loose. Two weeks to fall hard. Two weeks to figure out how to make this Christmas last a lifetime

My Thoughts:
Can I tell you how much I love Spencer and Colbie. SERIOUSLY LOVE THEM! I think Chasing Christmas Eve is by far my favorite. Yes, I know it has uprooted The Trouble with Mistletoe. Yep, I fell hard for these two, and they are so much fun. I mean we have have Spencer who is super smart and dumb at the same time. His last relationship didn't go well, because he didn't know how to balance life, so why bother with the "L"word. However, he crashes into an unsuspecting woman and kind of falls hard. However, he's Spence and he can't admit it.

Now we stumble across Colbie Albright. Now she's a runner, not an actual runner, but the running away kind. Not only is she's a runner, but she's a writer who has hit a giant wall of writer's block. Sucks. It's starting to get to her, so she decided to travel to beautiful sunny California. Anyway, the juices start to flow thanks to the help of Spencer.

Again, let me reiterate I LOVE Chasing Christmas Eve, because it was fun story. You have these two people who are too busy with their personal lives that they don't have time to have a relationship. However, they see something in one another that they are willing to modify their lives to accommodate the other person. Seriously, this is a huge change for Spencer. In the previous books, you would have seen him to busy to make time for anything else. Colbie is super cute. Oh my gosh, adore her, but this is my personal take on Colbie: She kind of reminds me of Jill in someways. So, I wonder if Jill inputed a little more of herself into to Colbie.

Anyway, Chasing Christmas Eve is probably by far the best in the series, at least to me. I love the gang, Elle not so much. I'm going to be honest, I wanted to throat puncher. I know she was looking out for Spencer, but sometimes she needs to mind her own business. Colbie didn't help her situation with Elle with all her notes. Writers what can you do. One more thing, we also found out a little more about Eddie. Boy is it... oh man it's good. I didn't see that one coming. Okay, okay, awesome story, and loved it. Made laugh, and yes cried, but Elle can be mean at times. There you go, you know I love the story, and I hope you guys feel the same as me. I seriously can't wait for the next one.

Teaser Excerpt:

Spence drew in a deep, shuddering breath that wasn’t much steadier than hers and pulled off his now crooked glasses. “Hang on a second.” He tossed them aside. “I need to check on something.”
“What?” she asked warily.
Once again he slowly drew her in, his eyes heated and focused on hers, infusing her with some of his calm. “I want to see if this is how it’s going to be.”
“How what’s going to be?” she whispered.
“This.”
His kiss started out just as slow and thoughtful as the first, all careful control. But when his tongue touched hers, control flew straight out the window.
